						<head>Commentary</head>
<p>This apparently informal regulation is of a type that is often found at the altar or cult-site. The small prohibition concerns the bringing of wine for libations. On Kos, by contrast, the Moirai (along with Heracles and other gods) appear to receive such a libation, cf. <ref target="http://cgrn.ulg.ac.be/CGRN_96/">CGRN 96</ref>, lines 32-36 (restored). The verb προσφέρεν is perhaps analogous to the verb προσέρδεν found in a small prohibition from Thasos, no doubt in the same sense of "bring forward to sacrifice", cf. <ref target="http://cgrn.ulg.ac.be/CGRN_17/">CGRN 17</ref> (though that text is concerned with restrictions on sacrificial animals). On this text and Zeus Moiragetes, see Graf, p. 24-25.</p>
